To look to improve the laws regarding travellers and illegal campments

Rejected 15 signatures

What the petition asks

To change laws, increase powers and deny rights to travellers, who set up illegal camps, trespass and cost tax payers millions.

Travellers have more rights than local residents and it isn't fair or right.
Travellers cost us tax payers and councils are having to waste valuable resources. We need more protections against illegal campments

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

We're not sure what changes to the law you'd like to see. Illegal encampments are already illegal.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. If you do start a new petition, you'll need to include your surname.
