What the petition asks
The Government should exempt those with Parkinson's disease from NHS prescription charges.
There has been many advances in medication since the prescription charge exemption scheme was established, which enable many sufferers of Parkinson's disease to work and pay tax.
Parkinson's sufferers should be given the same rights as people with other medical conditions that entitled them to free prescriptions.
