Hold a referendum on independence for the North of England

What the petition asks
The North of England deserves complete independence from the South. By holding a referendum, the public can have their opportunity to tell the Government what they really want.
I've grown up in the North, I have family in the South. Every time I went down to the south to visit them I noticed distinct differences. Just because it holds the capital, the South is seen by many as better to live in. It angers me that many people don’t see the beauty of the North for what it is. The Government does not adequately represent the North, and people have had enough.
