What the petition asks
Minimum paye wage of £20/hour, over time 1.5 of the minimum after 8 hours, pension scheme, and the rest of the benefit of a normal employee.
Everyone needs to know that transport companies not only have drivers shortage because there is no drivers but because they do not pay decent wages and work conditions are absolutely a disgrace. Many drivers retired, left the country or decided not to driver anymore bacause of the reseanos.
Both companies and drivers are in need to have rules or terms and conditions of the work and pay, also this job needs to be skilled job and be paid accordingly.
The need of these rules ar absolutely urgent.
