Keep mask-wearing mandatory on public transport

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

I believe we need to continue to wear masks in crowded indoor places in order to keep COVID numbers down, most importantly on public transport, which is enclosed, and which essential workers use to get to work.
The Government has the power to legislate to continue to make masks compulsory on public transport.
I feel many people will not continue to wear masks if the rule is relaxed, but will continue to do so if mandatory.
