Require continued wearing of face coverings in shops, public transport etc

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

Do not change the mask wearing legislation on July 19th - require the continued wearing of masks in settings where social distancing is not possible.
There are still many young people who have not had a second vaccine and many more immunosuppressed people who will be exposed to increased risk if people chose not to wear masks. Wait until we can see the reduction in new infections. Wearing a mask is primarily to protect others - individuals will see the choice as a personal one rather than a wider public act.
