Bring “freedom day” forward from 19th to the 11th if England win the Euros.

What the petition asks
We would like the government to bring “Freedom Day” (originally planned for the 19th July) forward to the 11th July if England win the 2020 Euro Championships.
This would mean all Covid restrictions that were going to be lifted on the 19th would instead be lifted on the 11th immediately after final whistle if England win the game. It’s been decades since England have won a major tournament and people should be able to celebrate this achievement by our great country if it happens. For the sake of 8 days I don’t see how it makes a difference.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We're all really proud of the England team for getting to the 2020 European Championship final, but unfortunately they didn't win the match. So we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
