Extend Covid-restrictions past 19 July 2021 following a drastic rise in cases
Rejected

What the petition asks
There is evidence that the Covid vaccine does not provide immunity to contracting the virus, and since July 2021 there has been a rise in cases above 30,000 for the first time since January. It is simply too early, and would be a step backwards in lifting all restrictions so soon.
Reconsider lifting ALL restrictions on 19th July 2021, and keeping preventative measures in place such as face masks on public transport and social distancing in indoor spaces.
