Reform into how Cafcass are used in family courts
Rejected

What the petition asks
I would like government/parliament to discuss making reform and changes in family law and also the use of Cafcass in children’s cases.
Over the last few years there has been many high profile court cases regarding the failings of Cafcass and also many high court cases regarding Cafcass. Yet they are still relied upon in family courts. The government needs to make reform, so families can not be subjected to anymore failings by the use of Cafcass in family and children’s cases.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We understand you'd like changes to Cafcass, but we're not sure what changes.
