What the petition asks
We need the Government to bring in legislation to make all stations and trains Step Free, it involves all genders, religions, families, the elderly and every person with a visible or hidden disability. Mobility issues can strike anybody at anytime. Disability Does Not Discriminate, People do.
People with Mobility issues find steps impossible, so traveling on the railway network is impossible at a lot of stations in the UK.
We need legislation to get lifts/ramps at stations and trains with automatic ramps, this is needed now, as it has been ignored for over 70 years, any work to make the network accessible is peacemeal and needs to be across thew whole network
