Set Minimum Wage for Class 1 and 2 Drivers
Rejected
15 signatures
What the petition asks
To consider a minimum wage for class 2 drivers to £12.50 per hour and class 1 £15.50 per hour.
Its Clear the UK are struggling with its Transport industry. The only major way to help/prevent this is to pay the professional drivers a decent wage.
There are many courses we have to complete to our own expense.
This is making the Job (Class 1 and 2) so unappealing for people. In fact its that bad people are leaving the industry!
Let drivers have a life! Let them see more of there families. Let them earn a decent wage without doing 15 hour days. Companies take advantage of us! !
