Increase funding for 30 hours free childcare to help nurseries survive

What the petition asks
I would like the Government to reassess and increase the amount of funding it provides to local authorities to pay nurseries for the 30 free hours parents can use at settings.
The situation at present is dire and it is forcing many nurseries to close. Nursery owners are expected to make up the shortfall. Managers are going without pay so they can pay their staff, and in some cases are having to subsidise these fees to meet the wages bill at the end of each month. If you want to parents to keep working, this situation must be reviewed without further ado.
