All players in the Euros 2020 England Squad & coaches knighted to fight racism

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

In the past few hours, football players of colour have been targeted with racial abuses and slur. This should be debated on the floor of the house while the government, the Queen inclusive should address the nation and confer knighthood on all the players
To further give a sense of belonging and security to people of colour living in the UK and associated with it as a mark to assuage the pains of slavery. This will assure the sports people of colour that the UK is indeed a home for all embracing in diversities. With the events of the year showing accusations and acts of racism from top to bottom, this is an auspicious moment to pay more than lip service to equality and equity amongst all peoples.
