Extend eligibility of UK Ancestry Visa to any generation of South African

What the petition asks
Currently you are only eligible for the UK Ancestry Visa if one of your grandparents was born in the UK, Channel Islands or the Isle of Man. I would like this to be extended to any ancestor born in the UK, Channel Islands or the Isle of Man no matter how many generations ago.
I am pleading with the UK government to allow any South African citizen with a UK heritage access to immigrate, with rights to live and work as per the current Ancestry Visa but with no limitation on the number of generations that the UK heritage can go back.
At present there is a wave of violence going on in South Africa, looting is prevalent and main roads have been blockaded, extending this eligibility could help people find peace and security in the UK.
