Challenge the child Mental Health Support and Services.

What the petition asks
The mental health services are not operational, young children are being refused mental health treatment as CAMHS are at crisis level and rejecting mental health assessments, that would save lives, due to lack of funding and staffing issues, my Son is one of them .
Currently Government Legislation states that all Neuro Development assessment cannot proceed , this needs addressing . My Son cannot have the help he urgently needs currently under the NHS and the support that should be offered. CAMHS and SFEDS have openly agreed that currently they are failing my son and many individuals that require immediate mental health support, I am having to go privately to obtain this, which I cannot afford, or he would not be helped and is at severe risk .
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We understand you are concerned about Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, however it's not clear what you want the Government to do to "challenge" these services. Under current Government guidelines, such services can be delivered. However, decisions on whether and how to deliver these services during the pandemic are matters for the NHS, which is operationally independent of the Government.
