Compulsorily Oblige all GPs in Britain to Reopen Fully

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

It is time that GPs went back to work. They must compulsorily open up their practices fully and see patients face to face and without any initial interrogation by medically unqualified staff. Video calls are inadequate and can never replace a private consultation in person...

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Petitions must call for a specific action that the UK Government or House of Commons is responsible for.

Decisions about the provision of local NHS services, including GPs, are a matter for Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) and individual practitioners, not the Government or House of Commons.
