What the petition asks

Our green Nelson Cemetery Allotment community request the government discourage Pendle Borough Council from destroying our community.

Nelson Cemetery Allotments are under threat by Pendle Borough Council. We don't want out beautiful environmentally friendly community hub transformed into a graveyard.
This is a place for the welfare of the living, a food source & a green community.
We wish to protest against the proposed eviction of the Nelson Cemetery Allotment Society in order to extend the area of the cemetery.
The society has been in existence for over 100 years and is a valuable community asset.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

This is a matter for Pendle Borough Council, not the UK Government or Parliament.
