Do not impose new taxes on sugar and salt in food

What the petition asks
The National Food Strategy independent review recently recommended the Government should introduce new taxes on salt and sugar in some foods. This idea should be rejected.
Not everybody in the UK is obese and we all deserve a treat once in a while, instead we should be teaching people to live a healthy lifestyle and eat a healthy diet. People don't want to be controlled about what they should and shouldn't eat. A tax would affect the whole country including those who live and eat more healthily, everything in moderation is the right way to go.
