Allow vaccinated British citizens entry from amber countries without quarantine.

Rejected 12 signatures

What the petition asks

On 19 July, the UK removes the requirement for quarantine to those entering the UK from amber countries, but only those vaccinated in the UK by the NHS.

The government failed to recognise the 5M+ expats residing outside of the UK, unable to return without quarantine, even if fully vaccinated.
We, the British citizens outside of the UK, ask for the UK Government to recognise the vaccination programmes of those around the world, the majority of which are offering the same vaccines administered within the UK.

If Brits can visit the countries we reside in and return without quarantine, we should be offered the same opportunity, should our country of residence sit on the orange list, as per the new guidance.
