What the petition asks

The European green pass shows a person's covid-19 vaccination status. It allows travel within Europe.

We need to get the travel industry up and running again.
It is an obvious step towards normality that has still not been taken.
At the moment only NHS fully vaccinated people are allowed to benefit from the new uplifting of the restrictions travelling from abroad (amber list countries), still stopping so many fully vaccinated loved ones from meeting.

Why it was rejected

The UK Government or Parliament was already taking the action it asked for.

Since you started your petition the Government has announced that it is waiving quarantine for arrivals fully vaccinated from Europe from 4am on 2 August 2021.
