Petition · past parliament

I want to petition for a ruling on working in 40 degrees plus in the UK.

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

A restriction on working in 40 degrees plus, I myself have worked in kitchen since 2014 and everytime we get heatwaves the kitchens can go up to 50 degrees plus, even with fans or a quick five minutes outside when possible, it is still unbearable to most people.
I am asking on behalf of the majority chefs in the UK, as working in these intense heats courses alot of heat stroke witch leads to sickness, and by the end the team is left short working harder in the heat to stay to standards, they end up really dehydrated wich in some cases lead to dermatitis, black eyes and many other health issues
