Petition to help women who are affected by period poverty
Rejected

What the petition asks
The government should help the vulnerable and poor with sanitary products such as pads and tampons by making them free as well as removing the tax on them since its not something women choose to have. Since necessites do not have taxes, a good way to start would be by removing tax.
People who menstruate have no choice to do so, so why should they have to suffer every month, particularly the poor and vulnerable who cannot afford their basic necessities. We aim to help the helpless.
The end goal is for these products to be free for a every girl and woman out there.
