What the petition asks

I would like the government to look into why school uniform provided by schools is expensive. It is ridiculous that schools charge an extortionate amount for uniform they expect students to wear.

Because schools run under the government and it is your responsibility to make sure that uniform is affordable for all. Not everyone has the financial capability to be able to afford uniforms for their children, especially when you have multiple children you need to purchase for. Something needs to be done. If schools expect children to wear uniform than it should be made affordable!

Why it was rejected

The UK Government or Parliament was already taking the action it asked for.
