Require schools to teach students about knife crime as part of the curriculum

What the petition asks
The Government should require that schools teach students about knife crime as part of the national curriculum. This should cover the penalties for knife crime, and the impact it has on individuals and local communities.
Many parts of the country have seen substantial increases in knife crime in recent years. Teaching young people about knife crime could help prevent it in the future.
