Fund counselling for all people who are going through pregnancy loss

What the petition asks
I want people who are experiencing or have recently experienced pregnancy loss to be offered counselling and emotional support after they leave hospital. Even 4 to 6 counselling sessions could make a huge difference. Making this support readily available upon discharge is pivotal.
Currently there is no standard offer of emotional or mental health support offered to people who have experienced pregnancy loss when they leave hospital. There are services available, but we need to contact our GP or search for them ourselves. This can feel overwhelming and impossible in a time of such deep loss and trauma.
Last year I experienced late pregnancy loss and have been offered no support, no one even checked in. People need and deserve support. It could be life-changing.
