Nut ban on all airlines

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

Ban nuts on all flights so that nut allergy sufferers can travel without risking death.
My daughter has severe air-borne, touch-sensitive allergies to both peanuts and tree nuts. She has never been able to travel abroad because airlines won’t offer an alternative snack to nuts.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can't accept your petition because the Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. At the moment, this is a decision for airlines. The UK Government and Parliament don't have the power to force airlines to take this action.

You could start a new petition asking the UK Government to urge airlines to remove nuts and nut-based products from planes, if that's what you want to happen.
