Prohibit mobile telephone service providers charging for EU roaming
Closed

What the petition asks
The Government should introduce legislation to require mobile telephone service providers to continue allowing EU wide roaming at no extra charge.
Following the UK’s exit from the European Union the major service providers gave assurances that they would not be looking to introduce roaming charges for UK customers travelling within the EU.
Now two providers, EE and Vodafone have stated their intention to reintroduce these roaming charges.
The Government must take immediate action to ensure that UK customers are not put at a financial disadvantage.
