Extend the Gambling Act to cover Loot Boxes

What the petition asks
In July 2020 a House of Lords Committee highlighted evidence that loot boxes cause gambling problems or exploit problem gambling, and called for the Government to extend gambling legislation to cover loot boxes. In September 2020 the Government called for evidence on this but has taken no action.
It's appalling that the Government lets this practice continue unregulated despite the evidence that it does cause harm.
The Government should immediately bring into effect regulations under section 6(6) of the Gambling Act 2005 specifying that loot boxes are games of chance.
