Outlawing of plastic wrapping/plastic-based bags for fruit/veg/bread in shops

What the petition asks
Far to much plastic is still being used when it’s entirely not needed. Examples are cucumbers, broccoli, bananas, mushrooms, potatoes, fresh bread. The list goes on, these fruit/vegetables have skins, they can be washed yet they constantly are wrapped in single use plastic that cannot be recycled
It’s simple, within a year outlaw the use of plastic and any plastic bags to hold them in that cannot be recycled 100%.
Often it’s the little things that are overlooked yet cause the most damage to the earth and it needs to stop as soon as possible.
