Rejected
18 signatures
What the petition asks
Don't make it a privilege for migrants to be put up in hotels at the expense of British tax payers throughout the uk. If they arrive in our country they should not be treated like royalty.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about housing of migrants, but migrants are not habitually accommodated in five star hotels. You can read an article by Reuters fact checking claims that thousands of migrants are being housed in hotels: https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-factcheck-uk-housing-48000-illegal-im-idUSKCN2592DV
We could accept a petition calling on the Government to review how migrants are accommodated, if that's something you would like to happen.
