Create a path to safety for all LGBTQ+ Afghans for resettlement in the UK

What the petition asks
The UK government needs to create a path of safety for all LGBTQ+ Afghans who want to resettle in the UK. LGBTQ+ people should be included in priority refugee groups such as women and religious minorities as LGBTQ+ are some of the most vulnerable to harm under sharia law and Taliban rule.
LGBTQ+ people face the harshest of treatments under sharia law. All LGBTQ+ Afghans deserve our protection.
LGBTQ+ groups in Afghanistan are an extremely vulnerable group and are now at even greater risk under new Taliban rule.
If we truly believe in human rights in the UK, we need to help LGBTQ+ people escape a regime that will in all likelihood kill or seriously harm them.
