EQUAL Rape-Risk for Female NHS Patients (including female transmen) as Male Pts

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

Mandatory, competent Health & Safety Risk-Assessment for sexual predation reduction using UK Govt statistics on rape & sexual offending, to establish the incidence of sexual offending in population: male transwomen (with/without GRCs) prior to placement of any male in any Female NHS accommodation.
MOJ OMS-Q 2001-20 shows stark differential between incidence of sexual offending of male & female populations of 1:104 (2018 & 2019) within context of at least 90% heterosexuality. ONS & Eurostats show 88-90% of 'sexually offended against' are female.

Equalities Act allows single sex provision in hospitals under sch #3, single sex provision restored to NHS in ~2008. No evidence that rate of sexual offending of male transwomen is ***as low or lower than*** female population (including transmen).
