All HGV CPC courses to be online only.

What the petition asks
Stop HGV CPC courses in classrooms.
A hgv driver has to sit in a classroom once a year for eight grueling hours and usually in their leisure time or time when they should be relaxing. However, information on one subject can be taught within a few hours and is dragged out to eight hours to suite vosa. 5 modules to learn such as first aid could have been chosen every year which made the scheme a debarcle. Now we have a dangerous situation with covid, I think all courses should be online only, to be learnt at the drivers discretion.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Petitions must call for a specific action that the UK Government or House of Commons is responsible for.
Decisions about how to provide CPC training courses are a matter for individual course providers, not the Government or House of Commons, and some course providers already offer online CPC modules.
