Introduce at least one carriage on trains for mask-wearing passengers only

Rejected 12 signatures

What the petition asks

Make trains safer for clinically vulnerable people, by introducing a specific carriage for mask-wearers.

Whilst going maskless on a train is a risk much of the population is willing to take, there are many who feel like extremely uncomfortable travelling alongside them, or cannot take the risk.
Covid looks to be part of our future for a long time yet, so we should be planning to enable vulnerable people to socialise, commute and travel more safely. Even beyond covid (hopefully there is a beyond!) this measure could make a big difference to those who have to travel but take a significant risk doing so. We’ll always have vulnerable and immunocompromised people in our society, but we can normal make life less dangerous for them.
