What the petition asks
Rapid charge networks should be as accessible to drivers as petrol station are. By forcing standardised payments method, we can ensure electric vehicles chargers are accessible and as convenient as filling up at a petrol station, without having to have 30 different apps and RFID cards to pay.
With use of electric vehicles on a rise simple to use charging network is essential. Currently there is no standardised method of payment. Some suppliers requiring drivers to give vast quantities of personal data unnecessarily for the service provided or sign to complicated subscriptions, many do not accept credit or debit cards at all!
It is in our best interest to ensure electric cars are viable and painless option to choose as your new vehicle.
