What the petition asks
There must be no more using of green land for building.
Reuse existing buildings such as offices.
New build must be at least three storeys high preferably more, with a communal garden.

New build must be at least three storeys high preferably more, with a communal garden.
Farmland and green spaces are being filled with housing at an alarming rate.
Whole areas are becoming unrecognisable and there is huge effect on wildlife and natural water control.
Building ever outwards is a luxury we can no longer afford.
New build must be presumed to go up not out: like other countries with shortage of land we must start to build more homes on the same space with roof and community gardens.
The assumption that everyone will have a private garden can no longer be the case.
