Commission NICE to Review Guidelines on Chronic Pain (Published April 2021)

What the petition asks
Around 15.5 million people suffer from Chronic Pain (Verus Arthrtis, 2021). A number of commonly used treatment for pain relief and management are no longer recommended, and we believe the new guidelines do not meet the needs of people suffering from chronic pain.
The Review should consider evidence and statements provided by relevant stakeholder and campaign groups.
Experts have argued that because chronic pain has such an important impact on the lives of people who live with it, that every tool available is needed to help in its management.
