What the petition asks
Limit the sale of dog poo bags to those which biodegrade, in order to protect the environment.
There are 8.9 million dogs in the UK. Many of the UK's dog owners use disposable, non-biodegradable dog poo bags on a regular basis. This use of plastic poses a grave risk to the environment, especially when not correctly disposed of. Biodegradable bags are readily available
