What the petition asks
Publish the full details of all financial contracts awarded in connection with the so called "Track and trace" system. That is the names of the companies and the names of the directors of those companies.
Public money has been spent on an unprecedented scale and the public has the right to know who the beneficiaries of this spending were, and what they were supposed to achieve with that spending.
Why it was rejected
It was a request for information, better suited to a Freedom of Information request.
You already have the right to see recorded information by public authorities through a Freedom of Information (FOI) request. This includes details of contracts from government departments.
