Hold a public inquiry into controlling Bovine TB
Closed

What the petition asks
We demand a Public Inquiry into Government’s science, policies, and actions, in their efforts to control bovine tuberculosis, (bTB).
Many professionals, academics, farmers, and animal keepers are extremely dissatisfied with the current approach taken by the UK Government, including the testing regime and subsequent legal proceedings/enforcement action.
We feel that an inquiry to inform a thorough overhaul of management of bTB would benefit all concerned serving to restore public confidence.
We believe reform would encourage further voluntary engagement that would be of enormous benefit to the eradication of the disease.
