Issue birth and death certificates for babies who are lost before 24 weeks

What the petition asks
I would like the Government to ensure that birth and death certificates are issued to families who lose their precious babies before 24 weeks.
We don't have our babies here today with us but having something to keep to show they are acknowledged would mean the world to many families.
I lost my daughter at 19+4 and delivered her at 20+1.
She was a perfect baby who just needed to grow some more.
She had a heartbeat. She was real.
I would have loved to have had a birth & death certificate to keep. Because she did exist and she was still born.
I can say on behalf of many families who have lost their children before 24 weeks just how much having a certificate to show they were real would mean to them.
