What the petition asks

I’ve recently had a family cat that got hit by a car - resulting in a split skull die- this has been heart breaking for my family, the person/ car that hit him did not stop to check he was okay … they drive off now if this was a dog that got hit you are legally required to? This to me isn’t fair

So many family’s suffer from loosing their cats to a road accident and people think it’s okay not to do anything about it !

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Make it an offence to hit a cat and drive off
