Tougher sentences for Dog Theft and Puppy Farms

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

During the COVID-19 pandemic dog theft has been on the rise. This not only affects the dogs in but the owners too. Recently a dog thief in Dorset stole a Black Alsation and was only charged 200 community hours and a 10 month sentence. It is disgusting, a dog thief should be served with 5 yrs minimum

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

You may wish to sign this petition calling for a similar action:

You could start a petition calling on the Government to introduce tougher sentences for unlicensed puppy farms, if that's something you'd like to happen.
