What the petition asks

Ensure that NovaVax volunteers can travel internationally as other vaccinated people can.
Instruct NHS clinics to administer trial volunteers 2 NHS approved vaccines when requested
Amend NHS software to allow appropriate vaccinations to be recorded
Advise on booster vaccines for trial volunteers

Other countries will not allow UK visitors to enter unless they can demonstrate double vaccination with an approved vaccine (NovaVax is not approved)
Volunteers are blocked by the NHS from getting an approved vaccine
GPs and clinical trial doctors are unable to override the NHS app software
Boosters are expected to complicate the picture further
This poses severe obstructions for volunteers who need to travel for work, family, or holiday purposes

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Decisions on extra jabs for people who have taken part in trials is a clinical one, and not something that can be decided by petition.
