Stop uk holiday sites ripping us of for going away during school holidays.

What the petition asks
A fixed price or a cap on holiday company’s in the uk charging us 4-5 times more during children’s school holidays, a holiday in Cornwall cost £2045 a week on last week of august, a week later when kids are back at school the exact holiday was £395. This isn’t fair.
Stop these company’s taking us for a ride, we all work hard and deserve a holiday but whilst the sites get richer we sometimes have to go without. Is it any wonder parents take there kids out of school to go on holidays,
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Petitions must call for a specific action that the UK Government or House of Commons is responsible for.
Decisions about the prices for holiday's during the school holidays are a matter for private companies, not the Government or House of Commons.
As a result it is not possible for the Government or House of Commons to take the action you have requested.
