Transmen and Transwomen toilet use

Rejected 20 signatures

What the petition asks

I want the Government to alter the law to allow all people to use the toilet that matches their Gender Identity
I am a pre-op transwoman who has continually been denied access to the women's toilet because I am still physically male. This is surely a violation of my right to choose, my right to no discrimination, etcetera.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Government guidance already sets out that "a trans person should be free to select the facilities (such as toilets or changing rooms) appropriate to the gender in which they present."

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
