Provide funding to lower the cervical cancer screening age to 18

Closed 898 signatures

What the petition asks

The age at which you’re offered a smear test should be lowered to 18.
Changes occur to the cervix from adolescence onwards and by the time girls reach the age of 25 some are already being diagnosed with cervical cancer. Lowering the age of the smear test will enable abnormal cells to be caught much earlier.
