Show some compassion for the people working in the energy industry

Rejected 14 signatures

What the petition asks

We ask Boris Johnson to stand up in parliament and show some compassion for the the thousands of people who have lost, and who are at risk of losing their jobs as a result of the gas crisis.
Since the gas crisis has started the focus has been on protecting customers. We do not disagree with this. But something important has been lacking. Not one politician has stood and represented the thousands of people who work in the industry, and who are at risk of losing their jobs. We ask for some compassion and to stop the rhetoric that anyone who works in the industry is incompetent. We ask Boris to say sorry for the tone of this Government and to show some humanity.
