Place a DMSA order on reporting of food and fuel supply across the UK.

11 signatures
What the petition asks
The supply of food and fuel is critical to the UK, the UK Government must restrict media from reporting on logistics issues via an MDSA notice to prevent panic buying resulting in supply issues.
Trade, emergency services and the health and welfare of the nation rely on food and fuel. Sensationalist reporting by the media, creating panic buying scenarios that impact the regular food and fuel suppies must be prevented in the future.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. We think you mean a DSMA Notice, which is the responsibility of the independent Defence and Security Media Advisory (DSMA) Committee and does not prevent reporting.
