What the petition asks
The inclusion of known allergens in the manufacture of medications. poses a threat to people with allergic illness. This applies to all medications not only those for allergies. Either they risk their lives with the allergen or have no treatment at all.
This is an issue for the manufacturers of medications.
People suffering from allergic illness are forced to play Russian roulette with their lives, chancing a medication with a known allergen or leaving a medical condition untreated. The hunt for an allergen free preparation delays treatment and is often unfruitful.

Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Decisions on the safety of medicines which can be made available in the UK is a matter for the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), not the UK Government or Parliament.
If you have specific concerns about the effects of a certain medicine on those with allergies, you could report this through the MHRA's 'Yellow Card' scheme. You can find out more about this here: https://yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk/the-yellow-card-scheme/.
You could have a petition calling for a review of how the NHS supports allergy sufferers, if that is something you'd like to see happen.
